Painting - Day Five in the rain

Finally worked out the best way to do all this.  Have permanent parasol covering me and I can sit all day whilst its raining and sand away.  You can just see Nigel my InMoov watching me and wondering why his legs are hanging up on the wall.

Sanded down the main body again and its really looking much better.  I may need to add some filler in these door opening sections 

I think the weathering of the paintwork that's planned at the end of all this will look really good, as just sanding back the paint gives it a nice battered look.   I was using a very rough sandpaper  and its given it a metal scratched look. 

Here it is with a second coat of the creamy white Rustoleum.  

 Leg parts.  These look much creamier than the body above, but its just a trick of the light. 

A few more days of sanding and painting this week are planned.
