Dalek has working lights! - VIDEO!
Update on my Dalek build - it has working lights! - VIDEO!
It now has a 12-volt battery and switch mounted inside the body of the Dalek. This directly feeds the two "flashing" type 12-v LEDS mounted on each side of the head.
The small red LED in the head stalk has a built in resistor but ideally should be run at a lower voltage so I have added another resistor in series with it so it doesn't burn out as changing it would be really tricky. All wiring connections are in the head with a cable fed through a hole down into the base.
